The Home Buying Process .... from start to finish!
You have decided to buy a home. Great! Now where to begin?
Here is an overview of the home buying process to get you started.

1) Hire a buyer's agent
Find the best agent for you. Check reviews. Select one that is experienced, reliable, and easy to connect with. Your agent will be guiding you through the entire home buying process, so establishing trust early on is key.
2) Get pre-qualifiedMeet with a local lender/bank to get your pre-qualification completed. This is an important early step where your lender will let you know what type of loan works best for you.
3) Search for homesFirst, outline your needs and wants with your real estate agent. Then your agent will schedule showings so you can view homes. Sometimes it takes time for the right home to come around, so be patient!
4) Make an offerYou found a home you love! You and your agent will discuss price and other terms of your offer. They will complete all the necessary paperwork for you. Your agent will negotiate with the listing agent to get you under contract for the best price.

5) Get a home inspection
Hire a home inspector to look for defects in the home and to confirm condition.
6) Order an appraisal
Your lender will order an appraisal to verify the value of the home. They will also look for any necessary repairs that may be needed to satisfy your loan type.
7) Prepare for closing
The attorneys will update title work. Your lender will finish underwriting and give a clear to close.
8) Close the deal
Time to sign the papers and officially seal the deal! Closing is when the transfer of ownership happens, and you get keys to your new home!
